Put your message in front of Africa's political decision-makers.
Apex Africa publishes daily Africa politics news, read by campaign leadership, party officials, policy professionals, journalists and researchers. Advertising runs beside that reporting, always labelled and never disguised as editorial.
A newsroom with a daily file on African politics.
Live figures from the newsroom, read straight from the archive.
Three ways to appear in front of the newsroom's readers.
Every placement is labelled, so readers always know what they are looking at and your organisation is never mistaken for editorial.
Display placements
A labelled advertising unit inside the front page, the briefing index or a live article, running your creative beside the day's coverage.
- Front page, briefing index, article pages and the Africa politics hub
- Marked “Advertisement” with your organisation named
- Booked by placement window, from a single week upwards
Sponsored briefings
A full-length briefing written by our newsroom on a subject you choose, labelled as sponsored and carrying your organisation's name.
- 1,800 to 2,400 words in our house editorial format
- Labelled “Sponsored” on the article and in every listing it appears in
- Editorial standards still apply: sourced, attributed, no disinformation
Campaign-season packages
Display placements and a sponsored briefing combined for one election cycle, sequenced across the weeks that decide the race.
- Display and sponsored briefing under one booking
- Scheduled to your election calendar
- One booking, one point of contact
From brief to placement in three steps.
Send the brief
Tell us the format, the markets and the window you have in mind. The form below takes two minutes.
We confirm slots and rates
We reply with the placements available for your dates, the rate for each and, for sponsored briefings, the editorial brief we would write to.
Your placement runs
Display creative goes live for the booked window as a labelled advertisement. A sponsored briefing is published to the newsroom, labelled and listed with the day's briefings.
How this newsroom works.
Sourced and attributed
Every briefing traces its figures to the document, dataset or report they came from, listed on the article itself.
Sponsorship is labelled
A briefing published on behalf of an advertiser is labelled as sponsored wherever it appears, with the advertiser named.
Editorial is separate from advertising
Advertisers have no influence over what the newsroom reports or how it reports it. Placements sit beside the reporting, never inside it.
Corrections and accountability
We correct errors, date our coverage and name the author. The newsroom publishes analysis, not disinformation, and does not profile individuals unlawfully.
Tell us what you want to place.
Send the format, the markets and the window. We reply within two to three business days with availability and rates.
